Is this you?

People love what you do. So why does the sales bit still feel off?

You get results for people. You’ve got the testimonials. But when someone asks, “How can I work with you?”, something changes.

  • You freeze, waffle or ramble
  • You play it down: “Get back to me if you’re interested”
  • You offer a discount just to get past the awkwardness
  • You have a call that feels brilliant, then hear nothing. No reply. Just silence

If that’s happened more than once, this series is for you.

The reframe

It isn’t your fault. You’ve just never been given a structure.

You’re not broken, and you don’t need to start again.

Selling is a skill, like anything else in business. If you’re not learning it, you’re winging it. And hope is not a strategy.

When you learn to sell properly, in your own style, things change. You lead the conversation with confidence. You know exactly what to say. You feel calm and in control. And you start hearing “yes, I’m in” a whole lot more.

What’s in the series

Five videos. One simple structure you can use on every call.

1

Why selling feels so hard, and what changes it

Why great business owners struggle with sales, and an introduction to the Elite Closing Formula: three steps to serve, sell and close.

8:49
2

How to start the sales conversation

The five things to do before you even speak, so you open every call with authority and confidence. Plus why “just touching base” loses you the call before it starts.

10:29
3

Golden questions

The questions that do the heavy lifting for you. They get your prospect talking, reveal what really matters to them and keep the conversation moving towards the logical next step. As Matt puts it: if you’re explaining, you’re losing.

9:10
4

Objections and closing

What to say when you hear “I can’t afford it”, “I need to speak to my partner” or “I haven’t got my diary”. You’ll learn Matt’s three-step method for handling objections calmly, then asking for the business without sounding desperate.

4:59
5

Putting it all together

How every part fits into one repeatable structure, from the first word to the final close, and how to take it further.

7:25
What this isn’t

No pressure. No manipulation. No slick sales tactics.

This isn’t theory, and it isn’t fluff. It definitely isn’t about turning you into an overconfident sales machine.

“Sales is not about convincing people to do something they don’t want to do. It’s about helping people that are a good fit make the right decision.”

— Matt Elwell

Once that clicks, sales stops feeling like pressure and starts feeling like leadership.

Who it’s for

Made for people who are great at their craft

Coaches, consultants, service providers and business owners who deliver real results, but haven’t yet cracked how to consistently turn interest into income.

If you’ve ever thought “I just want to feel confident on a sales call”, “I want to know what to say without winging it” or “I’m tired of people saying no when I know I can help them”, you’re in the right place.

Proof

From dreading sales to closing with confidence

Harpreet Chana

Left the NHS to start a coaching business. Once she overcame her fear of talking about money with clients, she doubled her coaching business and became a paid international speaker.

Mark Goody

CEO of a recruitment agency in central Birmingham, doubled his business in 12 months by mastering the art of selling and teaching his whole team how to ask questions, listen and follow a process.

The Academy and Matt’s training has been brilliant in helping me to change my mind about what selling means. I always thought selling was sleazy and it was a phobia of mine. I never thought I’d be someone that could sell. When Matt taught me that selling is all about serving, I realised that serving is something I can definitely do!

Ghulam FernandesFounder, Handling Grief

I sold a £870 healing package. That takes me to just short of £5K in a week, and over £12K since meeting Matt Elwell. And I didn’t even realise I was selling until I’d sold!

About Matt

Your trainer: Matt Elwell

Matt has spent 30 years in sales, and he didn’t always love it. He knows what it’s like to feel uncomfortable asking for money, to fear rejection and to be a people pleaser.

Once he learned to sell properly, in a way that matched his natural style, everything changed. He co-founded Elite Closing Academy to teach business owners to do the same, and the process in this series has since been taught to thousands of people at his live trainings.

He’s the author of Open With A Close and Cold to Sold.
