The workbooks stay at home.
Everyone scrubs up. Everyone walks in. And when the awards get read out, the whole room goes up.
Not a coaching call.
Not a Zoom square. Just all of us, in a room, celebrating the year.
This is the only night in the calendar where both communities are under one roof at the same time — Elite Closing Academy and Expert Empires, same room, same tables, same night.
Black tie. Three courses. A stack of awards to be handed out. And we’ll be raising money for charity along the way.
It’s our favourite night of the year. By a mile.

Somebody’s name gets read out.
And for about four seconds, a room full of business owners forgets all about pipelines and targets and the thing that broke on Tuesday — and just goes properly, loudly mad for someone else’s good year.

One stage. One room. Whether you normally see Matt or Nick, on the 6th you’re sat at the same tables, cheering for the same people.
Why it matters
You’re brilliant at setting the next goal.
Landed the big client? Where’s the next one.
And you are absolutely terrible at stopping for five minutes and going “actually… look what I’ve built.”
This night is that five minutes.
Where the money goes
Every penny raised goes to the Birmingham Basket Brigade.
Your ticket covers the room and the meal. Nobody is making anything on this night — everything else we raise on the 6th goes straight to the Birmingham Basket Brigade.
Every December, the Brigade packs and delivers baskets of food to families who would otherwise go without over Christmas. It runs entirely on volunteers.
Matt and Nick have been involved for years. It’s a cause that matters a great deal to both of them, and it’s the reason this night exists in the form it does.
The Basket Brigade was started by Tony Robbins — which, if you know Nick’s story, is where a fair bit of this began for him too.
